Android Exception Logging – ACRA

Hi,

i want to tell you about ACRA, it’s a very common tool in android world to log exceptions, stack traces etc. It first has been announced as android exceptions to google docs logger, but now you can even write your report sender. I know google play keeps exceptions on your account but it doesn’t help you much on the development process. Here i will explain how to write a custom error report sender to communicate with SOAP or REST web services of your own. First of all ACRA initialization should be done in Application class of your android project. It’s base class of your project. If you don’t have a one just create an empty class extend it from the android application as below and add it to AndroidManifest.xml after that you are ready to go !

Win 8, 8.1 .NET Framework 3.5 Installing

Hi,

When you try to install or use .NET Framework 3.5 or an older version on Windows 8 or a newer version, you will kinda have some hard times. Because it’s not allowed to install full package of .NET framework from Microsoft on Windows 8 or 8.1.  There are 2 options you can try. First try to install from Open or Close Windows Features tool as below.
